Drivers side door porblems

ok i recently bought a white 1990 Mazda RX-7 GXL. the drivers side door was replaced by the orriginal owner. the who door seems incompatable with the electronics of the car. the power mirrors, Alarm system, and shoulder strap are not working because of the door. i need to get a replacement or fix this one so it will work what should i do and where can i get parts to do it.

Door electronics are the same regardless of series.

Does the domelight on the door work???

and the seat belt would be un-related to the door

the domelight is missing parts so it is inoperable. and i gather that the door is inolved from the fact when you open the door the electronic motor should move the belt forward and when you close the door pull the belt back from its forward position to the back.

That is related to the Door switch, which is located on the body of the car, not the door.

If your dome fuse (or any other fuse) is not blown, and the seat belt(s) are not moving, then it probably needs the recall done and would be unrelated to the door electronics.

without knowing if the dome light works in the door, it would require testing of the wires in the door which would require pulling to door panel.

But of course that would again be unrelated to the seat belt operation.
