Don't worry. It's just broken. Like hundreds of others. Maxdatrix only wants 75 or so bucks. Pick you color. Or if that does not appeal to you, go to the wreck yard and get one for ten. Held on with two ten mm nuts. Have to take the interior of the door off and roll the window up to get access. I'd do that first to make sure it really is broken. You'll notice at the wreck yard that most of the left hand door handles are missing. Wonder why? Same guy that designed the door handle designed the wiper switch, logicon, cpu, oh shucks, just name the broke part. What? Me irritated?

The rod that actuates the mechanism may have come loose. Also, (and this is pretty common) the handle may have physically broken where the rod connects.

Also, the door dosent open from the inside or the outside--so i dont think the handle is broken--i guess its the rod.

Decamco...Your right. I'm wrong. With the broken handle I've always been able to open from the inside. Should'nt be too hard to figure out whats wrong when you pull the interior cover off and get a good look.

hehe juist fixed this last weekend. One of the points where the handle pivots on was snapped. The previous owner fixed it with hot glue and a piece of metal, now it has part of a curtain rod and de-insulated network cable wire on there.

I didn't know mazdatrix sold them in all colors - would have saved me a big headache.
