I have noticed that while my passenger door shuts lightly, I have to slam the driver door. When I looked closely I found that the latch has a plastic coating on it that has cracked and broken off. The causes enough difference that the door has to move further in to latch.

I can see where the passenger latch is starting to crack too.


Has anyone figured out a fix for this? I searched and found only locking issues?

I could but I'm thinking most other cars will have the same issue with brittle parts?

I could check the dealer I guess.
