drilled through the iron removing a bolt!!
Not through the jackets at all, just through the back of the "hole" that holds the alternator bracket bolt on the front iron (water pump)

I'm pretty sure I'll be alright if i can just get the f-ing bolt out! The bolt is still in there! Hollowed out and for some reason grabbing on for dear life! I mean really, there is maybe 1/64 of an inch of the bolt remaining and it's still grabbing the threads and not budging! I think I can still get it to seal fine with a bolt and some sealant after getting the rest of the old bolt out.....I've never tried to do this before and definitely botched the job up pretty bad..... any advice?

Yea I did, that's what caused me to have to hollow the bolt out as much as I did. The left handed drill bit/ screw extractor broke off, I had to drill through it as well..... I've got a tap and dye set, can I just tap it to say.... 13mm?
I would go up to 14mm, that way you have enough material to ensure you have good threads.
This site gives a 12mm drill for 14mm coarse tap.

farberio, im gonna need to be walked through it a little more....
So what does it mean when I need a 12mm drill? I've got a 14mm coarse tap, but I can't just attach that to a drill and go to town? (carefully go to town...)
