Dragging brakes
So, i try to install my new Axxis ultimate pads in the front this past weekend, and i find that both my front calipers are seized, or slow...so, i am going to put in new calipers (rebuilt, that is).
But, heres where the problem lies...I had to get on the brakes quite hard today on the way to work, and i felt a sudden drop in the brake pedal pressure, so now my left caliper is dragging on the rotor...i can tell cause it feels like im towing a elephant and also the rotor is turning blue. I am 50 miles from home (at school now) and will install the new calipers/pads this coming weekend, but, what else will i be damaging by having one of the pads dragging? Obviously besides the pads and calipers?
Thanks,
Jahan

the heat will warp the hell out of your rotors if you drive like that, I would not attempt to drive 50 miles like that. I might be possible if it gets hot enough to damage your wheel bearings also but I think the brake will completely lock up in a few miles
