Angry drag raced my TII again

i went to englishtown for time trials. right before i got there clutch pedal is picking up low and has to be pumped to get pressure. this is a wonderful sign right before i get there. i get my first time trial mess up cause of the clutch wind up with a 15.41 @91.1 mph with 2.6 60FT second time clutch pedals down when i launch smoke everywhere wound up with a nice 18 second timeslip and i noticed on the way there i'm getting a thumping from the rear either suspension or wheels and my new front rotors and pads are super squeeky. what a great day.....

Geez. I'd go home instead of racing if I was having clutch problems.

Thumping = probably broke your front diff mount

Squeeking = kinda normal with brand new pads and rotors, they haven't bedded in yet

well i drove an hour there figured it was worth a shot. yeah somebody suggested maybe its a broken diff mount but when i launch on the street i get no thumping it only occurs at high speed 80+ mph.... might have to take the GTU to mads

unfortunately yes. you can have the power you want but if the clutch won't disengage you will get nowhere

I'm not sure of your mods but if I'm sure you realize that if you lowered the 60' time to a2.1- 2.2 or so you'd easily be mid -upper14's so theres a somewhat positive side

the car stock ran 15.3 @ 88mph. now the car has 3" RB DP, 3" MP, cone intake, panspeed ecu and 11psi of boost bleeding to 7.5psi @ redline. on my first run if i cut a 2.1 rather than a 2.6 60ft ( i normally am around that range) would have been a high 14!!!! there's always wednesday for more time trials just gotta fix the car before then

sounds like time to change the clutch and the diff mounts and give it 1 more try.
