downpipe&silencer VS BONEZ superflow cat/silencer combo

just curious if there was any benefit in one over the other.

I have the Bonez superflow set up and it is not bad but I was also thinking about getting the RB downpipe with the silencer .

Of course I wont waste my money if there is no real benefit to it.

I have a Borla catback on the car as well.

no cat vs a highflow will make a difference, but you already have a highflow. so.....
if you want the most gains then go to full 3" like the RB Turbo back.

well I am not going to replace the Borla cat back . that is why I bought it-million mile warranty means I dont have to pay for anything on it ever.

I am thinking about replacing the Bonez set up . it can be replaced cheaper than a catback.

Thumbs up go for the header/silencer

when my car was an N/A i had the "superflow" (my ***) system in my 7 with an Apexi exhaust. My friend had the header/silencer combo w/ stock catback and his was faster even w/the stock catback. I take it, that this is for the N/A, if it is for the turbo, go with the dp, HUGE difference, your lucky because LA does not require emissions.

it is for my 90 NA. I am thinking about pulling the Bonez out and popping in a dp & silencer.

which one will work with the BORLA?

For a NA FC go with the Bonez. It's keeps the exhaust quiet while giving good gains.

A presilencer will make you incredibly loud.

I had the Bonez DP and CS 3 inch cb when I was NA and it was ******* loud(mainly due to CS single).

When I went turbo I ditched the cat and went RB DP and silencer. I am just as loud as a NA with a cat right now. If I was NA and ditched the cat I woudl be ungodly loud. Node can vouch for how loud mine is right now.
