Downpipe and midpipe 10th A/E

I am a 3rd gen guy and I just bought a 10A/E. the car is totally stock, but I want to open the exhaust up to get rid of some of the heat.

On the 2nd gen turbo do you need to update the computer to run a new exhaust and if not after what mods is a computer nessary.

Also, in order what mods would u do?

Thanks

soon to be rx-7 owner

i'm planing to get a downpipe/midpipe also, one thing u should try to get is a feul cut defenser(fcd) because the pipes raises boost, we have MAS not SDS (speed density system) so you don't have to change the whole computer for just with these mods, just buy fcd that's about it boost raises about 1-2 psi. keep stock filter and exhuast until u can get something to raise the fuel because 2nd gens got wastegate problems which makes boost creep and spike sometimes when u have free flowing exhuast/filter.
