How Do I Hook Up a Sunpro Analog Temperature Gauge?

I have a Sunpro Temperature Gauge, and I would like to know where I can hook it up on a 1990 engine. I found the place to put it on an 88 motor, but cannot find it on mine. Thanks.

Buddy- If you read this, I know it's yours, and you can have it back.

Man, mech water temp gauge? That is gonna be fun to route. Well, with mine (electric) I drilled a hole into the water pump housing and tapped it. Then screwed in my sensor. Worked great. I just stuck a big vacuum in the hose hole to catch metal shavings.

I love having water temp. I can see it warming up. Then, when the thermostat opens the temps drop about 10° and then stabilizes. I love that I can confirm the thermostat opens

I forgot I had a picture of it. Had to grind down a spot on the airpump bracket. You can see the indentation I made with a dremel.

Have you ever considered getting a piece of pipe the same size as the internal diameter of your top radiator hose and having someone weld a Bung on it with the same size threads as that mechanical gauge in your picture? Then insert the new pipe with bung in between the engine and the top of the radiator???? Like....engine with short hose followed by the new pipe with bung, followed by another piece of hose to connect to the top of the radiator??????? But, truth be told, I have installed one like in the picture. Some of the housings where the filler cap is, have a blank boss on that housing (that blank boss is drilled out for a temp sensor for the a/c fan on some cars). I just drilled, tapped and JBWELDED the sensor into that blank boss. Is that too vague????
