double din

Will a double din stereo fit in a second gen with no cutting? Will it fill the dash hole completely or will you still need to use some black plastic fill?

Thanks,

we just put an Alpine double din in my friends 88 TII, fit great, needed a little piece of wood or plastic under it to fill the gap. we actually used a small plastic "pocket" from under the tape/radio of another 2nd gen

You should not have to cut anything.

You may need to make a trim panel or use trimmed half din pocket to fill the extra amount of room.
