DOT approved Pilot HID housings?

I've been DOT approved Pilot HID housings at most autoparts stores (autozone, napa, riebes, etc) and was wondering if anyone else has tried them out?

My drivers side headlight recently burned out so I was thinking of maybe switching over to these with the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs.

You are aware that silverstars are not HID bulbs, right? Are you talking about H4 conversion housings?

Ok so maybe they aren't called silverstars, I already have the Sylvania Silverstar sealed beam halogen. I am talking about getting Pilot H4 conversion housings and then the Sylvania brand, what I am assuming, are HID bulbs, whatever the model name is for those.

I considered Mark's kit but I think he is out or doesn't sell them anymore as last time checked there wasn't a store link on his website anymore.

edit: Yeah I assumed wrong, double-checked Sylvania's website, all of their stuff is halogen.

Guess I'll probably just pick up a cheapo sealed beam.
