Doors OPEN... not

Ok so I have my baby girl running great but I am goin Bo Duke to get in and out. I am not sure what the problem may be but it is my guess that the rod has slipped. Anyone have any tips on getting the door panel off with the door SHUT. BTW it is both doors, actually I think someone tried to steal it and screwed up the rods, but it is only a guess. Ideas? Thoughts?

I had my drive door get stuck closed. I took every screw/bolt out of the door panel excpet for the one at the top that you can't get to when it's closed. I then pulled back the panel, and reached my hand inside the door to where the lock mechanism is, and if you look at a diagram, you'll see that there right next to the window track looks like a little button screw that is on a track. It's impossible to see with the door closed, i had to take my door panel off the other side to see where it is/how to get to it.

Well, I used a flat head screw driver and reached in blindly using the window track as a guide and pushed that button down the track, which in turn opened the door. My guess is that it got stuck on the track or something, but after that I haven't had any problems with it.

I got cut the hell up, I could barely fit my arm between the door panel and door frame, and then had to reach all the way to the back of the door. I got cuts all up my arm.
