Door/Window Seal Info

Hopefully one last question.
I understand the new outer door/window seal that is attached to the top of the door is now made out of a flexible material, not the metal substrate of the original, but my question is:

Does the new design come with the black glossy coating as original, or is just a matte finish?

Once again TIA

They should be glossy. The one I ordered a few years ago was. I know there is a picture of that in the first couple pages of my thread.

No problem, always happy to help. Depending on the condition of both of those trim pieces, you may want to end up buying both the top and bottom piece.

The top door/window molding like new and the door/window seal has only a very few small bubbles, hardly noticeable unless you look very closely and the finish is still bright and glossy but when getting the car painted just wanted new pieces. The car has been garaged and hasn't seen rain since 1992, it sure helps, as when I removed the front cover all the nuts came out without any problems.
Got a price yesterday, $5500 and on the way home blew an oil cooler line so the car arrived home on a flatbed.
Car will go to the shop mid September.
Thanks for all the help.
