Question Door Seal - Just plug it in?

Like the title, do I just plug in the new door seal rubber strip, or do I need some type of adhesive or anything?
thanks

which one? there's 3.

One goes completely aroudn the door and is seated in a groove around the window channel, and by tiny clips at the front, bottom and rear.

One snaps on a pinch weld on the body along the windshield and roof, and one snaps on the pinch weld of the door opening.
