Door question

Well my car was in an accident with the previous owner and the door basically got smashed. it looks like they fixed it and all but the door is a little shitty. when opening it up with the key it doesn't really like click, it just turns and unlocks. also i can only lock it with a key. the door also fits a little weird, it doesn't look like it completely shuts. just wondering on some opinions if i should just go ahead and get a new door or just work with what i've got. how easy would it be to replace the door, and than have to worry about bullshit like keys and getting those synchronized? thanks a lot.

Replacing the door is pretty simple. Four bolts on the hinges, and an electrical connector underneath the steering wheel to take it off. I'm pretty sure you could just swap the doorhandles to get your old key to work in the new door. If there is one of the same color at a junkyard by you I would get it. I picked up a good condition door from a junkyard for $75.

Go with a new door, sounds like that will be easier. as for swapping locks it's not hard to do, just disconnect the arm, pull the clip and remove the lock assembly.
