door panels problems

i have a six inch speaker in each of my doors and a 1 inch tweeter. these were installed by the previous owner. i wan to remove tham (i have decided to make up for the weight of the AC and crap by having no stereo) but i do not want gaping holes in my door. what is the easiest solution? anything to do other than replace door panels?

if you don't want to replace the panels, you can:

1. recover the panels with new cloth for local auto upholstry shop

2. Make custom grills to cover the holes

3. leave the speakers in.

put a plastic grocery bag, and use it as a small trash can hehe...when full, simply tie and throw away, then replace new bag. :P
