I got every screw off now the thing just sits in the middle like it is still screwed in. I tried to remove the carpet matt/ arm rest but all the screws are stripped so it wont come off. the manual seems to say there is an easier way....I have no idea what i am doing wrong I am tryin to fix my windows and drivers side door and I am already stuck. GREEAAT. Thanks for the help

 

Dude theres like 4-5 screws on the handle. 1 on the lower left side of the door and another on the upper right side where it meets the dash. Than theres the one in the cup to the door handle. Than you can pry it off. As far as it being stripped, drill em out.
