Door handle lock cylinder compatibility??
When I had all my lock cylinders removed for renovation, no attempt was made to keep track of where they'd come from or where they went back...so yes, I'd say they are interchangeable.
It's possible- even likely perhaps- that the fittings on the back of the cylinders are side/location specific but I believe the lock cylinders themselves are all the same.

Ok thanks. I’m painting my car this week and going to pull the door handles tomorrow. My drivers handle is a replacement with a different key and the cylinder is wearing out. I’d like to take the passenger cylinder and put it in the driver’s door handle, getting me back to a single key for the driver door, ignition and trunk.
I have a new door lock cylinder in my hand as I'm typing this reply. The answer is "yes". There is a plate on the back of the door lock cylinder that can be flipped for either the right or left hand side,

Take the lock to a locksmith and they'll match it to the key. When I had our TII painted, the d/s lock (lock assembly door had been broken for some time) and light in handle was not working, so purchased a new lock and had them match it to the key. While apart, installed a new bulb.
Just a FYI- cost was $20 to match the tumblers/key.
