im looking at ordering some speakers for my fc, and was wondering how deep the door speaker hole is?

My '87TII has about 4 inches of clearance between the speaker mount and the inside of the door, but you have to account for the window coming down. I used the original speaker mounts.
I removed the old crappy speakers and put in a pair of Infinity 6002si which fit easily after grinding a bit on the mounting frame. Only had to grind for diameter fit. Depth was just fine.
