don't know if this is supposed to happen

When i hold the gas sitting still and get like 5 to 6k and let off the gas my a/f guage goes from rich all the way down and then doesn't show anything till idle then it pops back to rich, and there is some backfiring to. Is that just from that acv that i removed? And is there a way to get that to go away besides putting that valve back on?

that is normal. WHen you rev the engine and then stop revving it, the fuel is cut until it is needed at whatever the idle is set at thus creating a very lean spot. I see this all day long on my wideband.

Okay, because i didn't want my engine to pop. lol so I can't get it to stop backfiring? I timed it alittle better and its not too bad.

Seeing that is also a good indication that your TPS is connected and adjusted correctly

But is there anything to adjust so it doesn't scare the crap out of me when it backfires?

There are several causes of backfiring other than TPS- improperly adjusted mechanical idle, bad anti-afterburn valve in the ACV, timing...

Well I think my fuel gauge was wrong and when boosting probably ran out of fuel and kapowee. Just took the engine out and already to pickup another n/a engine for 100 bucks.
