haha I think Garrets car was running on one rotor at that time right Jrat? or was that before?

People which have driven behind me say I shoot small little blue flames every time I shift.
I know I've done a few. One time I was on a back road and just rev'd it real quick and I saw a big yellow flash in my side mirror

I never shot flames as NA with a cat. As soon as you remove the cat you get mucho flames.
I remember I removed the cat and the rest of exhaust on my 88 SE for some work and I drove it down the street real quick. I lit up the whole under body of my car at night when I shifted

My setup would be RB 2.5 DP with Presilincer to Corksport 3 inch single.
Cleaned and tested 550's
Rtek v1.5
and Aeromotive FPR with fuel pressure raise to about 60psi static.

I shoot 2 ft. flames and have video, just no way to post it. Applicable mods are: gutted precats>stock y pipe (no main cat)>pair of glass packs (which sound absolutly lovely and have held up much better than some would believe), removed EGR, s5 dynamic chamber and VDI manifold.

Mine throws flames. It's an N/A streetport, Bonez Race-pipe w/ presilencer, and HKS catback.

Streetported na w/ rb header-straight pipes to rb mufflers. Weber 48 sidedraft.
Shoots flames everytime I let off the throttle, even if just cruising. Am I running extra rich? I dont have o2 sensor or gauge.

Sounds like you are running rich.

Does anyone know if a dynomax muffler as a presilencer would cause me to not shoot flames?

if its not a straight through design muffler (a lot of them arent) it could be contributing. a lot of those dynomax and flowmaster and stuff are an oval canister and between the inlet and outlet there are several "V" shaped silencers that interupt the straight through flow. they usually sound nice but hamper the bbq rear bumber action. ill have to snap some pics of my cajun rear bumper, im awaiting a fresh jdm swap. but prior running intake, safc, 2.25 inch local chop shop crap *** exhaust that i cut all of the "mufflers" off, greddy e01, and most emissions removed. when cold my exhaust would flicker blue flames if i cracked er open for a sec and then almost light my bumper up!!

Hah, you right this thread is fun. Well have you tired down shifting from 5th to 4th at 130? Well if you do you better be on the highway and you will get a 5ft+ flame outta your rear end. I loved it. =) Plus my buddies girlfriend was sleeping and woke her up in a good old manner of scaring her half to death.... ;-)
