i have a S4 TII and i disconnected the factory alarm a long time ago. didn't think anything else would be affected. does the horn system tie into the alarm computer? i am aware that the cpu houses the horn relay, but not sure if the factory alarm need to be connected for the horn to work. i have checked the FSM and searched but all i could find was how to disable the alarm. thanks

no it has nothing to do with the horn, disconnected my factory alarm just recently and just honked at sumone today in my s4

 

i guess i have to check my CPU cuz i tested the horns and they still sound gay.
