how much will porting help and do you port i know intake maifold what eles or is that it? please help. what kind of hp gain do you get?

 

usually, when someone says "porting", they are referring to engine porting (although, people port lots of other stuff, to be sure), which is a definite help, check out the timeslips and dyno section. as for intake manifold porting there is a big thread in the archive, titled something like How To and Reactions.

 

it's also probably a good idea to read up on the different types of port jobs
