A neighbor's buddy gave me a light today. He bought it from someone thinking it was for his XR-7 but later found out it was for an RX-7. I think I've seen similar lights on eBay saying they were for the 2nd gen but I know I've never seen it on my 7or any other. Is it for the vert or perhaps for those with tonneau <sp> covers?

 

its the light for the cargo area. Goes on the drivers side just above the scissor jack.

 

that's the 89-91 trunk light. the 86-88 have it on the hatch shock.
