does the N-1 dual sound like a tin can?

I plan on getting the N-1 dual for my TII and am curious about how it sounds. Is it annoying like a tin can exhaust or does it have a lower tone to it? Thanks.

When i had mine it wasnt tinny at all. Sounded good, but a little on the loud side. But you can cure that by buying the *** plug.

Nope, it does not sound like a tin can. It sounds like the low rumble of a helicopter in the distance. I have a downpipe and hi flow cat with the N1 Dual. It is loud as hell.

I just made a 6 hour drive with it and 1 hour into it i bought ear plugs at a gun shop. I need to get silencers for it. Yeah, so why did I get a loud exhaust if I can't hack the noise? Not sure man. I will buy silencers and take them out for auto-x. But man it does sound bad ***. When you are behind the car it is just deep. Verrry deep. This is on my streetported 91 TII

if your car is turbo is sounds great
but if you car is NA it has some chain saw sound to it.

I love the dual N1 on my FC, but plan on selling it in about 6 months and installing Apexi GT

Ok, so the consensus is that's it's a badass sounding exhaust, but loud. How does it sound with silencers? Do they make much of a difference in making it quieter?
