does this mean the wheel bearing needs to be replaced?

my 87 N/A makes a high pitch noise everytime i turn to the left. Does this mean that the front left bearing needs to be replaced? Thanks.

ok... here is someother stuff.

it only makes this noise when i am turning left, it stops once i straighten the wheel....

i dont know how else to discribe it.

It's pretty easy to take off the wheel and inspect the bearing... DO THAT NOW! Wheel bearings are a serious safety issue and should be dealt with as such. Get the Factory Service Manual (links in the FAQ at the top of the section), and do their recommended inspection.
