I did some rough measuring, this will go from my Turbo to my AFM. How does that shape, and length look to you guys?

Haha ya I realized that after I already uploaded the PIC. I have not had a chance to shave them lately
Note: Toes are NOT part of the intake system. I need to keep them.

The big toe is not for sale, sorry. I would have prblems hitting WOT without it.
I will have finish PIC's tommorow I am going to SAC in the morning to get the Air filter & such.
Well it is a 3" to 2.5' adapter on the left side of the PIC so it should be okay. I can't hook it up to the turbo to check it out until BNR ships my stage 3 modded turbo back (I hope any day now, Bryan )
Polished elbow came from a Honda ricer shop in Rancho Cordova, Midnight performance, they were cool guys .. they cut it and **** also. They are shop neighbors with K2RD. PM me if you want their phone #.

Hey Rpeck, looks good. I made mine a bit longer; the filter was all the way forward, against the headlight bucket and the resistor pack was relocated to the fender well side. I felt this would keep the filter from sucking in quite as much hot air from the radiator area as it was somewhat protected by the fan shroud.
I just recieved my BNR stage 4 '89 turbo upgrade. Looks pretty damn nice I'll take it to work Monday to get some pics. The inlet is 2.75", I think its the same for stage 3. It looks like your adapter will fit OK though. Ian

Right on, thanks for the input. I figure if I decide I want it a little further up I can get a bigger adapter on the right hand side (of the picture) and extend it that way. Ya I hope to have PICs of my intake on my turbo any day now I am sure that other inlet will stretch a little if it is a 1/4" bigger on the turbo.
Pop up some PICs of yours when you can I would like to see it.
Thx

I just had a thought (scary at this time of nite) If I grind the edges of that chrome pipe ...where the adapters go on, would there be a air flow benefit to making a smooth agle? you think? Like a ramp in the direction of air flow, as opposed to some of the air hitting that pipe lip.

Well, I flaired my pipe ends out slightly for a couple of reaons. 1st, I didn't have access to a bead roller to make that little raised edge that helps keep pipes from slidding off, so this would help. 2nd, I figured w/ a slight outward flair it would meet up w/ the adapters at a smooth angle and minimal "step".
