I could get a decent turbo 2 convertible for a good price and my local junk yard has a na fc coupe rolling chassis with no rust.
But many parts have been sold already.
I assume that all front parts till the A pillar will fit (hood, fenders, bumper,...)

The doors are different, but what about the inner door paneling ? The chassis has no interieur.
seats ?
dashboard ?
carpet ?
rear axles ?

 

I'm the owner of a beautiful 1990 FC Turbo 2 convertible!

Seats/Dashboard/carpets should be the same of the coupè version! I'm not sure about rear axles!

and check if part numbers of the convertibile are the same of the coupè! Most parts are the same!

 

• Inner door panels will fit, but aren't meant for a coupe.
  • They have a slot notched out for the window pillar, as the windows are different than the couple
• Dash will fit
• Seats will fit, but may look weird due to the large headrest
• Carpet is different.
  • It will fit in front of the seats, but the area behind the seats is different to accommodate the bracing in the convertible
• Several different switch panels in the convertible
• Obviously, there's no headliner in the vert
• Assuming the vert is a manual and the coupe is a manual, the mechanical parts are interchangeable to the best of my knowledge
