uhhhh no buddy......by INTERNATIONAL it is assumed that everyone WILL have different LAGUAGES and as an INTERNATIONAL FORUM it is acceptable to speak any language. ETIQUETTE has nothing to do with this. He is bilingual, you are not and he answered the question in a language that the original poster could understand and did US the favor of translating. Dude, you're conversing (play along) with of a bunch of people and you start talking to your freind in a language that the group will not understand.......not quietly in your freinds ear but out loud so all can see that you are speaking (possibly about them) so they cannot understand. That is rude in any situation, get your head out of your ***. BTW, I am Bilingual, but I would not type in spanish on this forum. AND WHY answer in a language that the poster would understand???? Did the poster ask a question in a language that was not english??? How do you summize that the poster did not understand english??? Again, pull your head out.

sorry that your thread turned into a bi-lingual shitfest over something silly.

you can find the stock s5 parts for sale in the parts for sale section located at the bottom of this main forum. search in the 2nd gen section. this is your best bet is to find used parts from a sereis 5 rx-7 that is being parted out.
stock mazda parts are VERY expensive.
the RE Amemiya spoiler I believe with the shipping you might be better off buying from a japanese site. Not sure which would be cheapest for you.

The mirrors may be cracked on most, but the rubstrips should be perfect. Just sand and paint. You can buy fiberglass or even carbonfiber copies of the factory sideskirts from fc3s.org ( http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...iber_parts?b=1 )
You can also find aftermarket mirrors that you may like the looks of better than the stock S5.

There are a group of greek and czech rotorheads which make up the largest european countries on this forum so you may want to talk to them about shipping and where to buy.
They have a european forum located on rx7club somewhere, so hopefully that may help out with your search for bodyparts.....

Enjoy your Turbo II,
Ben Martin

That's about all I got at the moment. All of those are fairly recent. All my older pics of the paint job are 35mm and my scanner is broke right now. I got that car painted in early 1999 and that is what it looks like today with minimal care over the last 4-5 years. Still looks good and no paint coming off the rubstrips.

Ok I know this has probably been answered a million times but are the stock s5 "side skirts"(the metal parts) the same as the S4 "side skirts"? Also are the fenders different/fit differently other than the rub strips? I ask this because I am considering buying s4 parts for my s5 becasue they are cheaper/ easier to find.

Thanks, they had some nice sideskirts at speedmachineperformance.com. I dont think it is a big difference in the shipping price by buying from jp or us.

The rubstrips from s4 arent like those on s5, s5 is smoother xtremeskier, but it looks pretty nice on your car

I cant find any good webshops that got the RE Amemiya kit and the rear spoiler.

those speedmachine sideskirts are just copies of the stock pieces.

rx7.com used to carry RE aero parts for fc, but i cant find them anymore.
RE Aero parts are hard to find in the US for the FC. FC owners are generally cheapasses and don't pay the big bucks that 3rd gen and RX-8 owners will.

Yes, the rubstrips differ from s4 to s5, as do the bumper rubstrips which are moulded onto the bumpers.

As far as i know the metal bodypanels didnt differ at all. The rubstrips were removeable from all but the bumpers. That is why you find someone selling rubstrips from a stripped out car, and then you get a used s5 rear bumper and either a used s5 front bumper or an aftermarket one to complete your car.

You should give Higgi on this forum a PM. He's one of the czech rotorheads and seems to be pretty resourceful. He may know of good places to find RE Amemiya parts as he has personalyl dealt with them before and has a couple of their bumpers.

Heres a couple picts of the RE-A spoiler. I think we spent more time trying to get the stocker off then we did installing the new. The guy that inspected the car for the body work said he would probably remount it, but even so...

ahh okey, but the front bumper is RE A too?

I think its harder to get stock s5 mirrors than buying aftermarked mirrors in norway, but there isnt many webshops. Someone got some more urls? (not only norwegian shops. US, DE, JP++)

2. what the heck are you talking about? the black rub strips?
If so, thats a series 5 which is 89-91. series 4's are 86-88. s4's have black rubstrips and s5's have slightly different shaped body colored rubstrips along w/ different taillights and bumper
Wheels are KONIG MONSOON... Those are nice... I was gonna go for those on my Daily driven 87 but decided to go with 17" Nakayama Schumachers...
