Question Does an 88N/A have Sensor in the OIL PAN that shuts down Engine if Low on oil ?

It seems from way back that I heard this somewhere as a safety measure to protect the engine in case the oil level gets too low. Anyone know anything about that? Appreciate any input as usual....

No, there is no sensor that shuts the engine down for low oil.

However the FC does have a sensor that sets off a loud buzzer (the same buzzer for low coolant, and redline) if there is low oil.

Yep...got spark....its looking like I have a problem with the pulsation damper too...its a little leaky and perhaps is somehow affecting fuel flow...whatcha think ?

I doubt it has anything to do with your hot start problem. But you have to fix that right now pretty quick soon. RX will catch on fire. It's just a rubber diaphram holding that fuel in there and it won't take much more for it to rip apart and flood the engine bay. I'd worry more about that than the hot start right now. But you know that anyway.
