My uncle's 86 Sport (bought dealer new) has 4-pot calipers, 5-lug rims and an aluminum hood. The impression I got from him is the the aluminum hood was part of the sport package. Actually, he was suprised when I told him my 88 GXL had a steel hood, he thought all the higher models automatically came with aluminum hoods!

 

Didn't we just do the hood thread?

A GXL will have 4 piston calipers, and may or may not have an AL hood.

 

I have 3 aluminum hood. and 2 cars. I will sell all of them when i get the mold for the hood
