Im aware that some aftermarket springs arent really performance, but just "dump your ride". Anybody have experience with this brand?: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33586
seems dirt cheap, and if it would lower my car without killing the handling, etc then it seems like a good deal to me..
Any thoughts?

NO TO THOSE!!

Those are not for performance, just looks. Get some ground controls, eibachs, racing beats, or something like that. Those are much better springs.

I don't trust ebay springs, suspension is an important thing.

*EDIT*
Also, lowering "properly" is more than just a "dump your ride" kinda thing. Get some good performance springs with some good shocks and you'll be golden. My car has eibach pro kits with kyb-gr2 struts in front and some generic gas-adjust kyb's in the rear, all of this put on by the previous owner. My car handles noticeably better than my friends stock suspension TII. Obviously his is hindered a bit from age, but still, I took an on-ramp to a feeway, almost full u-turn, at 70 mph and could've easily gone further (this is also with weight reduction and aftermarket sway bars).

My future plans are k2rd coilovers or something similar. But most people don't want to spend over a G on a full suspension upgrade like coilovers
