i ran vert wheels on my T2 recently. they are light but they look rediculous on a T2 imo and they throw your speedo off

all 5 lug S4's have the same brakes.

All verts and GXL's have the "TII brakes".

Wheels don't throw the speedo off, tires do.

gotta keep the aspec ratio within spec on the tire so you dont throw the speedo off.

My speedo is way off... I'm running stock wheels and I assume "aftermarket" tires. (previous owner bought them) What is the stock size for the GXL tires?

verts have the same thing as t2 brakes .... so the wheels should fit unless you put some huge as aftermarket rotors on the t2

Not really.

More accurate would be that all GXL's, Verts and Turbos use the same brakes found on the 86-87 Sport, since that model came out first.

Who is the stupid one if it took you three trys to figure out which brake pads were right when most FCs use the same pads??

And since more models use the 4 piston brakes that even the uber lichet Sport came with, than used the single piston front brakes...

As a hint next time... take the part you are trying to replace in with you to compare before you leave the store.

They ordered the wrong part for me twice, I even brought in my friends TII rear caliper and they didn't do squat with it.

I recieved the N/A caliper and the only thing they could tell me was. 'Well...the computer says its a Turbo one....did you see if it will fit?'

I guess you are saying you have no friends or family that can either let you borrow a car from them or drive you down to the local parts store while carrying a pad o confirm fitment. Oh well.

Maybe it is just your area, but the heavy duty brakes (as auto zone lists them) have a reasonably common pad, that is normally in-stock at most auto parts places. If the lame autozone (IMO, one of the worst parts chains out there) didn't have them, why didn't you try some other parts stores?

In fact I have never heard of a auto parts store that didn't stock them since the front pads fit many Mazda's from 86 through 96 (including the FD) as well as several Kia's.

umm. OK.

did you miss the part where i said they did not have them in stock? and for the matter i drove myself there and order them. i didnt need to remove a pad from my car to take down there. i was just making fun since im stupid. remember? but thanks anyway for the repeated insults!

umm. OK.

i did try other parts stores. autozone had the quickest delivery time... but just order the same pad twice. and it happened to be visually too small. but your probably right its my area. the only rx7 parts that local stores stock out here is oil!

Nope, I just chimed in about autozones incompetence and wrong parts in their computers.

They ordered me the wrong caliper, but probably did not have the brake pads either.

This is what probably happened to you, wrong part but correct in their computer.
