Exclamation Do the masters of the second gen forum have any questions?

You know, I swear, some of you long termers are not human. You NEVER seem to be wrong when it comes to something.

So IM calling out, the following people who always seem to be 'right'

-Icemark
-REted (especially)
-NZconvertable (yes you too)
-Aaron Cake

You four always have a right answer for us. I think its about time that you prove to us all that your human, and that there are questions that even YOU people have.

Please don't move this post, I want you all to see it, its totally second gen related. Post your question that you've had about your FC and let us answer it for you! hahah, I think this could be fun.
Oh, and if you say that you have no questions, you must, think harder.

I don't think its that they "know everything" I think its that they take the extra time to find the answer for themselves and then double or triple check that its the right answer. That, along with a lot of practical experience, is what gives them the impressive amount of knowledge that they possess.

kevin should be on the short list.

dDub, Karack, Hailers, YOU (black P), I am leaving out somebody. But that is the short list of How can I put it.....2nd stringers but not in a bad way. more like a basketball rotation where the subs aren't bad they just don't start.

Emissions = teh losar...

Seriously, I have very little knowledge and experience with decipering emissions test results and doing emissions tuning/repairs. I can tell you that there are only 2 cats on a t2, however

kevin didnt make the list cause he isnt quick to jump on somebody and quickly correct them (like mark and jason). besides, he has engines to build HAILERS is a pimp too, he help me out ALOT about 3 years ago when i got my first 87 TII with the rats nest removal, etc.
kevin and HAILERS are my homies.

mark and jason have lots of general FC info. they have helped me out alot with general FC questions, troubleshooting, etc. and if you have a question about an FC in just about any near-stock or even quite modded form, they can probably answer it.

aaron cake is up there with the other two, but really just cleans up the forum he turbo'd a 6port and took pictures/video of it (and said the word aye alot) so everyone will forever be in debt to him
(and he has a canadian mullet)

and RETed is the opinionated know-it-all of the group that will even punk out the noobs. reted has helped me out several times with haltech questions, turbo questions, etc. he really knows his stuff. the opinionated stuff is where it starts to get hairy with ted

well mine has 3, only one actually has any guts left though(main cat), i should pull the whole system and redo it. i was fairly sure it was the precat that did both but i figured i would ask anyways. it is the hottest point of the turbo system so it would be the most logical point for the HC cat.

That's only because unless I'm completely sure of my info, I don't post. That's not to say I'm always right, and I have no problem at all with being corrected. I have a very strong passion for automotive engineering and rotaries in particular, so I'm constantly looking for new info on these topics.

My main sources of info for my posts here:

- The forums obviously. I learn something new here just about every day.

- The FSM's. Every chapter, NA and TII, S4 and S5, even S6. There's a ridiculous amount of info in these, yet it's often the last place people think to look.

- Haynes. Not as much info as the FSM, but way better instructions and photos.

- The Search function. I can't think of a question for you right now, because generally if I have one somebody else has already asked it and I've found it by searching.

- AutoSpeed e-zine. Been a member since the beginning. You can't read over 2400 automotive-related articles and not pick up a thing ot two...

- Google. Seek and ye shall find, most of the time.

- Experience. Getting close to 20 years playing with cars as a hobby.

- Car clubs. Long time member and organiser of two rotary clubs. Having a bunch of mates with the same interest and passion for these cars just can't be beat.

BTW, thanks for the kudos.

I'm wrong all the time. I just make it a point to make doubly sure I'm right if I am posting something that I am slightly unsure of.
