Do I need new clutch ???
OK, I think its time for a new clutch...
In 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear, if I floor it, the engine revs up without the car accelerating, then after a split second the revs seem to stop, drop for a bit, then the car starts accelerating, but not as it should...
This is typical "clutch slipping problem", but is it ? Could this be something else ? Anyone with any different opinions and/or ideas ?
Any help appreciated...
(PS: car has now 90K km on it, should the clutch be that worn out ? )

What's up Ace,
Haven't seen you around in a while.
I know your car is new to you, but what kind of driver did you buy the car from? A "kid" in a T2 will wear out a clutch faster than , let's say, some old guy in a mid life crisis. It definitely sounds like a clutch, but it maybe just normal wear and tear.... I don't know about Gen 2's, but in my 1st gen, there is a pedal adjustment that allows a bit more engagement. I adjusted mine and got it to engage about two inches off the floor, and no more slippage. Check it out and see....it sure beats changing a clutch, for a while anyway.
