Do I need the IAT from s5 intake on my s4?

I am going to use the s5 UIM on my s4 and was wondering what to do with the IAT. There doesn't appear to be a need for it on my s4. Someone was wanting to buy it from me, and I was just making sure I didn't need it first. I was just gonna trade him for the broken one and a few bucks.

Stock ECU?
If you don't care about gas mileage, then you can get rid of it.

Says who? Both S4 and S5 engines have one so why do you think you don't?
