i own a 87 TII and my needle on my turbo meter does not move? does this mean my turbo is not winding? also i live in elk grove, ca does anyone know of a good place for good prices for parts? im currently buying parts from the manufacturer and its costing me a lot.

 

No it doesnt mean that, my turbo boosted fine and my stock boost gauge didnt work, it was beacause I needed a new vacum line though, replace that vacuum line that comes from that boost sensor on the front of the passengerside strut tower it may fix the problem

 

You tell us, is your car slow? If your turbo is siezed, then the car will be dog slow. removing the AFM and checking the compressor wheel is the best idea. with the car off of course, spin it with your finger, it should move very easily and should not wobble.
