Any turbo shop will have a rebuild kit.
If you want a comp upgrade do a search and see what people are running. It's not hard to rebuild the turbo.
Just have the proper tools.
Popular upgrade is a TO4B 60-1 .

to make it the bnr stage 3, you will need to do a lot of work.

including rebalacing, and i highly highly doubt anyone can do this at home.

Any turbo shop that handles Garrett T04 turbos can get you the "rebuild kit".&nbsp Most rebuild kits are priced around $120 - $150.&nbsp The kits contain all pieces to rebuild these turbos.

When rebuilding the stock turbo, MARK the 12-point nut, shaft, and compressor wheel.&nbsp This is important, as it keeps the stock balancing intact when putting everything back together.

Another warning - the stock carbon seal is a royal pain to install.&nbsp This job really needs a press and special mating tool to install correctly without damaging the carbon seal itself.&nbsp The carbon seal is very delicate, and extensive damage to this seal will cause excessive oil blow-by into the compressor section!

If you're going for a compressor upgrade, it's recommended a shop with balancing equipment take care of this for you.

Whar these guys are saying is pretty much it. If you want to rebuild it yourself, kits are cheap. If you want slightly more power, get the comp TO4B upgrade and make sure you get the dynamic seal and not the carbon seal with the rebuild kit. Mark the comp and turbine wheel ** IMPORTANT**before disassembling.
There are c-clips to take out the bearings but that's about it for the hard part other than pulling out the turbo. If you are installing a comp upgrade, you should have the wheels balanced for long life of the turbo or else you will be pulling it out again to replace the bearings. There's no other way (cheaper way). The next step is a full TO4 upgrade if you get bored of the power. You should shop around though as prices vary .
