DIY debadging?

I am thinking about debadging my FC. I dont want to get it done professionally ($500 estimate) and I dont want it to look like **** either. I heard the best method was to use a heat gun/dryer and heat it up until the adhesive melts and then peel it off with floss. How proficient is this method? Are there studs/pins in both the Mazda and the RX-7 badges or just one? Does anyone have any pictures of their debadged FC's or any better methods of doing so? Searched, but did not find. Thanks.

I know my S4 has pins on the badges. Ive taken the badges off with a pocket screw driver. The previous owner had it painted to match the Turbo wing so there was no adhesive.

Yup, there would be holes to fill under those badges. Now you are talking respray of the trunk/hatch.
