on no pistons a few months ago someone was making custom divided manifolds for the FC. The welds looked great. The same guy is on honda-tech. His screen name there is matt_Sb2000.

XS Engineering cast divided, I think it's like $600 now?
Other option is the HKS cast, but it's listed at $750.

I was looking into a difided mani for my 60-1 when I buy it but I don't know how to tell without contacting Jason from rx7store which is where I want to buy my stuff from. Aside from HKS and XS who makes TO4B manifolds that are divided?

I beleive they have generic pics for the XS one. It should be different than the HKS unit you talked about Tony.

I bought the OBX one... Eventually it will probably crack and such -- but at this point that's what I'm going to go with. Pretty cheap price -- but I've heard of fitment problems on the FC. Mine's going on my RE motor though -- all I need is a spacer...

This Is what I was going to get but It was confirmed that the runners are not of equal length. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2453461168

Do you have a link Trav? My favourite Transformer was Soundwave. lol

They stole the HKS pic.
The XS Engineering unit is based on the HKS divided unit, but it was way bigger ports.

Oh, I forgot you guys were looking for an equal length unit, which is next to impossible unless you go custom tube.

Equal length is better for performance I suppose? Would an un-equal length divided manifold be useless? Or would it still be better than a collected manifold?

Sorry, I missed that point too that you were looking for equal length. Silver, that link you posted is basically the same design as the OBX just w/ a slightly different flange. Actually that pic always throws me, I don't know what flange that is, but I'm only familiar w/ the standard T4 flange -- which is what I have on my OBX. In fact, the other pics in that link look exactly like mine w/ the T4 flange -- can't figure out what those first pics are...

Others say that the OBX is not of great quality. Personally, I think it looks great and the welds seem solid -- but it's my first manifold, so have nothing to compare it to.

"They say" that the welds/seams will not hold up -- which is why I'll likely add an additional brace to support the turbo -- off of the motor or something. Haven't got that figured out yet. Anyway, with a spacer (RB exhaust flange) the manifold w/ T04e should fit just right. And all of my test fitting seems to confirm that.

I think I paid like $150 or so...

As far as equal length runners -- I really can't say how much difference it will make. Much more experienced folks on here that can comment -- esp. in the single turbo forum. From what I can gather, I think it will make a small difference. But difference enough to warrant the extra $400 or so? Not for me --- yet.

I have a XS divided manifold that I just bought last week, I paid 597 shipped to my door from them. The guy I spoke to at XS said I bought the last of the XS unit's for the FC and that he didn't know when they would be getting any more in, if any at all he said.

only from XS..and rx7store has them listed on their website but I called there and jason told me that they order all of theirs from XS...so again XS is the only place you can get their manifolds. No I'm not selling mine cuz I bought it for my t04 setup. but like I said, the guy at XS told me that I bought the last FC one they had....

We are in the process of making a equal Tubular divided manifold for my car. It has long runners and is not for a stock T2. It will require some work to make it fit. I do not want to post pics right now since it is in the proccess now but once it is done I will post pics. We also plan on building some not so radical FC manifolds that we want to retail around 400-450 range. More to come on that soon.

Here are some pic of what the not so radical FC/FD manifold we are going to be producing looks like. This is not a divided manifold.

Nicely done turbo-rotary. Keep us updated...

The lack of an accurate pic of a XS Engineering Divided Manifold Is misguiding me at this point.
