Disconnected and Reconnected Air Flow Meter...Now the car wont start...HELP!
i was trying to find a way to bypass the air flow meter to run a straight cold air intake...i know, i shoulda researched, but im the kinda person that has to see to believe.
i disconnected the little black box...i took both the screws out of each side and tried to pull it out...well, it didnt come all the way out and their were some metal pieces in it. i tried to start the car and it wouldnt run...so i slid it back in it case and put the screws back in...now, the car will start, rev to 2k or 2.5k and then drop to 1k...then it will try to go to 750 like normal, but it dies. ive tried giving it gas and after a few seconds, it dies on its own. i know, im an idiot for doin this, but i had to try it...any help is appreciated.

might have screwed up someting when you pulled that out .. the connector clips to the black box thingy .. you dont need to unscrew it ...
check the online FSM's and follow the procedure for testing your afm .. if you have a digital multimeter you can test this very easily ...
try that
