Digital Tachometer

I've decided to create my own dash, and i'm looking for classy type gauges. i was looking at the NOS cockpit line but...

i have seen a few digital tachometers. Anyone have any experience with them?

I've seen the Daytona Digital gauges before, they look very nice and appear to be very accurate however because it is digital not a dial, like all digital tachos on turbo timers and things like that you get an accurate reading, but accurate in numbers means numbers changing more constantly than you can probably read. Seems pointless to me since you can only really get an accurate number while coasting or idling. Hopefully that makes sense.

They do look nice though. Would look awesome in an FC, I've thought about it so many times but cost is prohibitive.
