87 was two spoke I think. My friend's 87 T2 has one.

Both 86 and 87 came from the factory with the 2 spoke wheels. 88-91 was three spoke.

IIRC, they're interchangeable.

Oil metering pump and pulsation damper. The former can be a pain for S5's unless you premix and the latter is a nightmare especially for S4's.
