What's the difference and how can you tell the difference between a turbo diff and gxl diff? Im going to pick up a diff out of a gxl tha had a turbo conversion done but the guy doesn't know what diff is in it and I need to know if it will fit with my na tranny and drive shaft. Please help?!

Turbo dif is physically bigger, and has a bigger bolt pattern for the drive shaft. You could look through the FSM for the measurements, or if your driveshaft is out of the car, trace or measure the bolt pattern out on a piece of paper, and compare it to the dif you want to buy.

The turbo LSD should also have more "ribs" on the case than the NA version. My NA LSD has 11 ribs, so see if it has that number or more.

2 either way, they're both LSDs. We're not comparing open diffs here, the choices were GXL diff and turbo diff.
