The 5-speed will have a 4.10, this should make you accelerate a bit faster, but your top speed will be reduced.

the differential is out of an 88' n/a, so ya think it will speed up the take off but lower the top end right? do you think it will give me any problems with it being a 5 spd differential in an auto?

Shouldn't hurt it. It actually might help. You'll never see the theoretical top end of the 3.909:1 gears anyway, not in stock form. The 4:10's should make the car more fun to drive, though gas mileage will suffer slightly. If you're going to go with a 4.10, try to find one with LSD. No big deal if you happen to already have one without it, it's just that LSD is more performance oriented than open diff.
