I was looking around at door kits and the one and only i can find is of course the lambo door kit. I want my car to be more unique then the others and i came to the idea of the "delorean door kit" I know it would take quite sometime to modifiy but i feel it would be worth it since there like no others. Has anyone ever heard of anyone trying this and how hard do you all think it would be. I know the sunroof would be ditched but it would be worth it to me. anyone have any ideas about this?

well, your not the first.... but this should give you some ideas........

 

i'm sure the doors had to be custom fabricated out of fiberglass or CF for that red one, those struts are much too small to support the weight of the stock steel doors. i'm sure they even need to be lifted into position to be held up by the struts.

this is something i would like to try eventually but it will be quite a time consuming job to be done right.

 

That red one looks like a red batmobile or some **** lol. w/e floats your boat tho i guess.
