I got under my car today to check out my front diff. mount bc the car has been making "the noise" (loud clunking at accel/decel.) and it looks as if the mount was already replaced. The rubber on the mount was completely solid, and the arm to the mount had no counterweight/whatever the big block is at the end of the arm. Now I am very confused... any information is helpful. Could it be the 2 rubber bushings??? Can I check w/out dropping the subframe?
