Differences between S4 (Turbo) trannys and S5 (Turbo) trannys?

Alright, I've got a question.

Are there any differences between the S4 (Turbo) tranny and the S5 (Turbo) tranny? (Like plug/sensor differences)?

I noticed that Mazda uses two different clutches (via their part numbers) while aftermarket companies like ACT only have a single clutch for years (86-92).

Therefore assuming the clutches are the same, what about the trannys?

Can the S5 tranny work in my S4? (I know it will physically fit, but my main concern is w/ the various plugs/sensors).

I say they are the same except for ratios. 5th gear in S5 .719- S4 .762. Driveshafts/clutches interchange.

only thing you need to do for it to work is swap the sensors on the outside. the sensors do the same thing in the same manner, they just hookup to the car differently
