Wow! I guess my poor engine was starving for air. I bought a cheapo intake kit off Ebay, and it made a world of difference. I guess with all that exhaust flow, I needed to feed it more air on the intake side. Just wanted to post my observations.

 

Its worth it for just that adapter.. people want way too much for it everywhere else.

Just outta curiosity.. have you had to pass emissions with your high flow cat? I gotta emission test my car before I can drive it (I let the registration expire seeing as how it had no engine in it ) and likewaise might need a new one.

One i got right now leaks like a ****, so that alone will fail me

 

Yea, I registered with about half the max amount of all of the gases they sniff for. I was a little worried, considering my car smells so bad. If you need any help with the car, let me know.

 

What happend with that grey 87 anyway? just curious. Someone emailed me about it and im trying to track down its title lol

I gave it away to a guy in Gilbert. He is gonna put her back together. If you got any info for him, please help him. He is a pretty nice guy, and this will be his daily driver soon.
