Difference between GTU, GTUs and GXL?

What is the difference between the various types of rx7's?

gtu's = a turbo rx-7 minus the turbo (it has all the goodies )

Ahhh, who cares? none of those models have a turbo!


There all just different trim levels, no power difference, just different options and wheels. The GTUs was the lightest and rarest of the 3 (or any FC for that matter) Drivetrain was beefier with less options.

GXL is also known as the fat-***, being that it has every option under the sun except for the turbo (grrr) Leather, sunroof, power everything, and had limited slip rear-ends in the series 4's, series 5 it was an option

Basic Models: Base, SE, 89-90 GTU, Coupe

Luxury Models: Luxury, GXL

Performance Models: Sport, 88 GTU, GTUs

Convertible Models: Convertible

Turbo Models: Turbo II, 10th Anniversary

yeah but if you take out all the fat ****, you got a light weight with bigger brakes and a lsd rear end, plus nicer seats
